Sally Abrams, L.Ac.
Testimonials p.2

I started seeing Sally Abrams in 1995 when I was getting sick with monthly sore throats. I didn't understand why and how I was getting these regular low level infections and Sally more than healed me--she taught me how to better take care of myself by educating me about my body's state of imbalance and how to remedy that. When I first consulted her, I knew so little about diet, the role of exercise and sleep, and what herbs to take to help my body find its natural, healthy state of balance. After so many years of seeing her for accident related injuries, congestion and coughs, depression, insomnia, and anxiety (amongst other things), I am better equipped to know what my body needs.  Sally was also available beyond regular office hours to consult with me about how the herbs she had prescribed were helping me or not. After each session, she always wanted me to call her and let her know how the treatment was working. I am so grateful for what I have learned from Sally. She sets the standard for how I now judge all the healthcare professionals in my life

I have been seeing Sally for the past 5 years.  She is truly a gentle and caring healer.  I have had internal pain and muscular and joint pain which Sally has helped alleviate with just a few treatments.  My resistance against colds and the flu has greatly improved since I have been seeing Sally.  And in the event I do catch a cold, her treatments alleviate symptoms and the cold is gone in less time.

Sally has also helped with my sugar cravings and when I experience irregular sleep patterns due to stress or hormone imbalances, her acupuncture has helped me get back to a restful night sleep.  Her knowledge and experience is outstanding.

I highly recommend her treatments for whatever ills you may have.  I see her regularly for a centering experience or “tune-up”.

For the last 20 years, I have been suffering from progressively worsening and more frequently occurring sinus infections and G.I. Reflux.  I continued to take medications (prescriptions and over the counter remedies), but my health did not change.  Summer of 2008, I developed pneumonia.  Feeling as though I had nothing to lose, I decided to try acupuncture and was referred by a friend to Sally Abrams.

Sally completed a thorough medical history and started me on a specialized diet.  I heeded her advice and with the acupuncture, began feeling better.  It has now been months without a sinus infection or having to take anti-biotics (a record).  For the first time in 12 years, I had 2 colds that didn’t turn into sinus infections.  Instead of taking anti-biotics, I took herbs which supported my immune system and relieved my symptoms.

Since beginning my new diet, I have lost some weight and Sally told me that if I’m on the right diet, I wouldn’t have to worry so much about weight and that my body would settle into the right weight for my body and that’s what happened.

My friends were awestruck by my recovery and my commitment to my diet.  Some of them have also started seeing Sally and have benefited from her expertise.

I am grateful to Sally as she has completely changed my quality of life.  If you don’t have your health, you can’t work effectively, think well or do the many activities that an otherwise healthy person can.  Thankfully I now have a much higher quality of life.
